Tape2pc – works great, only stiff setup

It took me over 6 hours over come to this product working with the software. The unit itself was no, non- the problem, i could no, non- come to the ez tape converter software over recognize the data from the tape deck. Ion Tape2PC was recording from the microphone, calm later than i changed the audio data. I installed the audacity software which worked perfectly although the audacity software is no, non- since easy over use since the ez tape. I got no response from technical support on why the ez tape software was no, non- working. I had over troubleshoot myself over come to the correct configuration. Setup documentation is no, non- that helpful. Also, they don’t nuisance over tell you that you can’t listen over the speakers and record over the pc at the same time. I presume that’s intuitive for much audio experts except figured that single out the forcefully way.

Once i got over the setup difficulties, it really does a great job of converting the cassette songs over mp3s. I was able over import audacity created mp3’s into itunes calm though it is no, non- since slick since ez tape i figured that out pretty easily. In addition, using audacity’s noise removal tool i am able over virtually remove the cassette tape hiss from the recording. The cassette tape converted songs on my ipod are very close in quality over my cd’s and purchased songs from itunes.
